Fantastic third weekend riding. Went out with my girlfriedn and a friend to the Harley Davidson store in Wokingham via the backroads – really got to grips with the bike! It turned out the Thames Valley Harley Davidson chapter had an event running at the store, so I was greeted by a large number of very large shiney bikes sat out the front of the store. I ended up parking around the back as my poor little Yamaha YBR-125 felt very inadequte. Everyone from the store and from the chapter was very friendly and supportive.

After that it was a short drive back to Eversley to the Tally Ho for a late lunch. Awesome twisty roads made for a really fun ride, and a tasty lunch was a great way to round off the morning.

After lunch it was a quick trip to Marks and Spensors to get some bits for dinner, then home again, this time via the A331 Blackwater Valley dual carrage way. First time I’ve maxed out the bike at 65mph!

I even took the very long route and went via the 1st Gear training route in order to practice some hill starts!
